The READY 2 Grow program is an exciting, hands-on learning experience for young people ages 10 to 17 interested in agriculture, gardening, and healthy living. Hosted by D&FH Farm in Statesboro, GA, this community-focused program will guide participants through the complete process of growing produce—from seed to harvest.

Beginning in March 2026, READY 2 Grow will provide students with practical skills and knowledge in planting, soil preparation, composting, plant care, and harvesting. Participants will engage in interactive lessons and work directly in the garden, gaining a deeper understanding of where food comes from and how to grow it themselves.

The program emphasizes responsibility, teamwork, and environmental awareness, making it both educational and fun. It is open to all interested youth in the community.

Applications open on February 23, 2026. Spaces are limited, so early application is encouraged. Don’t miss this opportunity to get your hands dirty, grow something amazing, and be READY 2 Grow!
